The Friends of Lake Farm Country Park is a group of local residents and community organisations under the chair of John McDonnell , working with the Council as the Lake Farm Management Advisory Group [MAG] in the development of the Park for the benefit of the Hayes people.
Lake Farm is one of the London Borough of Hillingdon's newest Urban Country Parks and was opened in September 2002. It combines many of the facilities of an urban park with a 60 acre expanse of meadowland fringed by trees and the Grand Union Canal.
Local residents and groups can get involved in this rewarding project and have a say in any decisions affecting Lake Farm.
The MAG aims to promote the safe and secure use of the Park, the protection and enhancement of its amenities, together with nature conservation and environmental education.
The Hayes Hawks BMX Club meets regularly and holds races at the Park's BMX Track.
Lake Farm MAG Meetings usually take place in the Hayes Library on Golden Crescent at 8:00pm on the 4th Thursday of alternative months.
You can confirm the date of the meeting by contacting John McDonnell's Constituency Office at Pump Lane , Hayes Tel 020 8569 0010.
